Lab Pack, Overpack, and Salvage Drums

• Lab packs are used for smaller, non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys and 5-gal. pails of non-leaking hazardous materials. Leaking containers must be packed with sufficient sorbents for NO FREE LIQUIDS. The 14-gal., 20-gal. and 30-gal. lab packs with screw-top lids are suitable for 5-gal. or smaller. Screw-on lid with gasket provides a positive seal and makes it ideal as an easy access, weatherproof spill kit container. Meets DOT 49 CFR 173.12.
• Salvage drums are used for damaged or leaking containers of hazardous materials or used absorbent materials. Requires labeling and must pass a 3-psi pressure test. The 65-gal. salvage drum with metal band and bolt is suitable for 55-gal. containers or smaller. Meets DOT 49 CFR 173.3.
• Overpacks are used for larger, non-damaged containers, cans and drums of non-leaking hazardous materials. Leaking containers must be packed with sufficient sorbents for NO FREE LIQUIDS. The 95-gal. overpack and salvage drum are suitable for 55-gal. containers or smaller. Meets DOT 49 CFR 173.25. All of the above products meet Packing Groups I, II and III of hazardous materials and UN HM-181.
